How our certificate IDs actually work

Every certificate Loh o Qalam issues carries a unique ID printed at the bottom, in a format like LOQ-2026-AR-00417. It isn't decorative — it's a lookup key that lets anyone confirm the certificate is real, without needing a login or an email.
The ID encodes the year the certificate was issued and the course track, followed by a sequence number. Paste it into our verification page and it either matches a real, completed enrolment or it doesn't — there's no in-between state.
Why we built it this way
Certificates only mean something if they can be checked. An employer, a university, or another institution shouldn't have to take a student's word for it, or email us and wait for a reply. They should be able to verify it themselves in under a minute.
If an ID doesn't match
If you paste an ID and it comes back as not found, the certificate is not genuine. Contact us and we'll look into it.
